Hyvät asukkaat,
meillä on tällä hetkellä pieni ongelma kerhotilan varauskalenterin kanssa. Varaukset eivät näkyneet blogisivulla kirjautumatta Googleen, ja kun koetimme päivittää kalenteria uudestaan näkymään, tulivat varaajatkin näkyville julkisesti. Kalenteri oli poissa käytöstä jonkin aikaa.
Ongelma toistuu ilmeisesti epäsäännöllisen säännöllisin väliajoin. Mikäli päivälle, jonka haluaisit varata, ei näy varauksia, ota yhteyttä asukastoimikuntaan tys.kuunsilta@gmail.com
Valitettavasti kalenterin häiriötilanteesta johtuen se ei aina näytä päiviä oikein. Kysy siis haluamaasi päivää hyvissä ajoin.

Dear tenants,
we are having a slight problem with the reservations calendar for the club room. The reservations were not visible on the blog page without signing in via Google, and when we tried to reload the calendar page, the reserver information became visible for everyone to see. We blocked the calendar from the page for a while.
The problem apparently comes up regularly. If the day you would wish to reserve doesn't show any reservations, please contact the Tenant Committee in tys.kuunsilta@gmail.com
Unfortunately, due to the error situation in the calendar, it doesn't always show all the reservations correctly. Please, therefore ask the date you would need well beforehand.

The Tenant Meeting assigns the local Tenant Committee members and is a legally assigned decision-making, democratic entity. In the Tenant Meeting, all TYS Pilvilinna and Kuunsilta tenants have the right of speech. For the purposes of elections, every household has one vote (shared flat roommates all have their own vote).

Itsenäisyyspäivän vastaanotto 6.12. kello 18-20
Suomen itsenäisyyspäivän kunniaksi asukastoimikunta tarjoaa kakkua, glögiä ja pipareita Kuunsillan kerhotilassa lauantaina 6.12.2014 kello 18-20. Jos haluat eläytyä Linnan juhlien tunnelmaan, voit pukeutua parhaimpiisi ja tulla kättelemään asukastoimikunnan edustajia. Pukukoodi ei kuitenkaan ole muodollisen jäykkä, vaan kaikki Pilvilinnan ja Kuunsillan asukkaat ovat tervetulleita, yhtä hyvin arkivaatteissa kuin juhlavaatteissa. Tarjolla on myös alkoholitonta glögiä lapsille ja autoilijoille.

Kasvimaatalkoot jatkuvat 30.11.2014
Pilvilinnan kasvimaalla pidettiin talkoot sunnuntaina 23.11.2014. Melkein kaikki viljelylaatikot saatiin paikoilleen, mutta kulkuväylille tarkoitettu suodatinkangas ja sora on vielä levittämättä.
Kasvimaatalkoot jatkuvat siis ensi sunnuntaina 30.11.2014 kello 10-17! Kaikki Pilvilinnan, Kuunsillan ja Kotivalon asukkaat ovat tervetulleita auttamaan. Talkoissa täytetään loput viljelylaatikot mullalla, leikataan suodatinkangas sopivan kokoisiin paloihin ja levitetään soraa laatikoiden väliin jääville kulkuväylille. Jos et ehdi mukaan koko päiväksi, tule edes tunniksi tai pariksi!
Talkoiden osallistujat saavat grillimakkaraa, Kuunsillan kerhotilan vuokrauskupongin ja etusijan jonossa, kun viljelylaatikoita varataan kesäksi 2015.
A community effort was held on Pilvilinna garden on Sunday 23rd November, 2014. The volunteers managed to place almost all garden boxes to their right places, but there is still some work to do.
So the community effort will continue on Sunday 30th November, from 10 am to 5 pm! All tenants of Pilvilinna, Kuunsilta and Kotivalo are invited to help. The volunteers will fill up all the boxes with good soil, cut the filter fabric to right shape, and spread some gravel on the walkways between the boxes. If you can't spend all day working outside, please come for just one or two hours!
Those who participate in the community effort will get grilled sausage for lunch, a Kuunsilta Common Room Voucher, and the first place in line for reservations of the garden boxes for summer 2015.

Asukastoimikunta järjestää Pilvilinnassa isot kasvimaatalkoot sunnuntaina 23.11.2014 kello 10-17. Erityisesti Kuunsillan, Pilvilinnan ja Kotivalon asukkaat ovat tervetulleita talkoisiin!
Talkoissa vaihdetaan huonokuntoisten kasvipalstojen tilalle viljelylaatikoita. Laatikot kootaan, asetetaan paikoilleen ja täytetään uudella mullalla. Laatikoiden väliin jäävät käytävät päällystetään suodatinkankaalla ja soralla, jotta kasvimaa pysyy siistin näköisenä. TYS toimittaa talkoita varten kasvimaalle multa- ja sorakuorman.
Keväällä 2015 halukkaat asukkaat voivat varata itselleen viljelylaatikon ja kasvattaa siinä mitä haluavat. Talkoiden osallistujat saavat etusijan jonossa, kun varauksia aletaan ottaa vastaan. Osallistujat saavat myös Kuunsillan kerhotilan vuokrauskupongin sekä talkooruokaa.
Osallistuminen ei vaadi mitään erityistaitoja - kaikki ovat tervetulleita auttamaan! Jos et ehdi mukaan koko päiväksi, tule edes tunniksi tai kahdeksi.

The Tenants' Committee is organizing a big community effort on Sunday 23rd November, 2014, from 10am to 5pm, to renovate the Garden Plots of Pilvilinna. All TYS tenants, and especially tenants of Kuunsilta, Pilvilinna and Kotivalo, are invited to help us!
The voluntary workers will build up Garden Boxes, put them to their right places and fill them with good soil. The walkways between boxes will be covered with filter fabric and gravel, to make the garden look tidy. TYS will bring the soil and gravel before the event.
In 2015 tenants who are interested may reserve a Garden Box to grow whatever plants they want to. Those tenants who participate in the community effort will get the first place in queue for reservations. Participants will also get a Kuunsilta Common Room Voucher and some food on Sunday.
No special skills are needed - everyone can help! If you can't spend all day with us, it's OK to come for just one or two hours.
You will need some weatherproof clothes that are suitable for garden work. But if the weather on Sunday 23rd is extremely bad, we have a Plan B to postpone the event to Sunday 30th November.
There will also be a preparation evening on Friday 21st November, 2014, starting at 5pm in Pilvilinna 9L Common Room. The aim of the preparation evening is to cut some nets to the right size beforehand, and to make sure we have everything ready for the big event. Everybody is welcome to help, either on Friday or on Sunday!
