Tervetuloa Kuunsiltaan, uudet asukkaat! Welcome to Kuunsilta, new residents (text later)!

Tietoa asukastoimikunnasta löydät ilmoitustauluilta ja tästä blogista. Joskus postaamme infoa myös Facebook-ryhmässämme. Keskiviikkona 15.8.2016 klo 17-19 olemme tavattavissa myös kerhotilassa, S-rapun yläkerrassa. Tervetuloa tapaamaan meitä, liittymään asukastoimikuntaan ja/tai katsomaan varattavissa olevaa kerhotilaamme sekä lukollisen urheiluvälinekaapin sisältöä. Tarjolla kahvia ja keksiä, keskustelun alla mm. asukastoimikunnan tämän vuoden hankinnat sekä uusien jäsenien perehdytys asukastoimikunnan toimintaa.

You can find information about the Tenants' board on the billboards and on this blog. Sometimes we post also on our Facebook-group. 15th of August, on Wednesday, from 5 to 7 pm you can also find us at the Common room (upstairs of the day care center). We will have coffee and tea, talk about purchases of the year 2016, and give information to our new Tenants' board members. Besides meeting us, it is a good possibility to have a peek at the Hall, which can be reserved to parties ect., and also see what's inside the sports locker.

Kuunsilta on saanut uuden nelijäsenisen asukastoimikunnan, nyt erillisen Pilvilinnasta. Tämä blogi päivittyy pikkuhiljaa, kunhan pääsemme perehtymään kunnolla sivujen sisältöihin. Lisäinfoa Kuunsillan asukastoimikunnan toimintaan, kerhotilaan ja kuntosalin käyttöön liittyen saat tällä hetkellä osoitteesta tys.kuunsilta@gmail.com. Ota yhteyttä myös, jos haluaisit tulla mukaan asukastoimikuntaan! :)

Kuunsilta has got a new tenants board with four members, separated from Pilvilinna. We will update this blog slowly. You can get more information about what we are doing, the usage of the common room and gym of Kuunsilta by emailing us at tys.kuunsilta@gmail.com. Welcome to harvest party on August 9th, 2 pm (14:00)!
All the Pilvilinna and Kuunsilta tenants are welcome to a BBQ party on the renovated Pilvilinna grill site! Good food and soft drinks available. The event is meant for the entire family and booking beforehand is required to reserve the right amount of food. Kuunsillankin piha-alueelle voidaan keksiä jotain yhteistä parannettavaa, kuten Pilvilinnaankin on tehty.
We can also come up with improvements for Kuunsilta grounds, like we did to Pilvilinna.

Oikealla on pari vuotta sitten istutetut hedelmäpuut (kaksi omenapuuta ja kaksi päärynäpuuta). Mutta mitä tähän keskelle laitettaisiin? Viljelylaatikoita? Jotain muuta?
On the right, there are the fruit trees planted a couple of years ago (two  for apples and two for pears). But what should we put here on the middle? Gardening boxes? Something else?

Here's the nice, large field of grass next to the place in the previous photo.

Kuunsillan leikkipaikka on melko hyvässä kunnossa.
The playground in Kuunsilta is in a pretty good condition.

Kuunsillan grillipaikka sen sijaan on melko rähjäinen. Se on korjauslistalla tulevana syksynä.
The Kuunsilta grill place is however quite shabby. It's on the improvement list for next autumn.

Ingegerdinpuisto on iso ja kaunis, suojaisa puistoalue ihan Kuunsillan takana. 

Sieltä löytyy tekemistä sekä lapsille että aikuisille ja kaikkina vuodenaikoina.

Ingegerdinpuisto park is a large-ish, wind-sheltered recreational area right behind Kuunsilta.
It offers activities for both kids and adults, on all seasons.

Keväällä kukkivat kirsikat ja omenapuut, kesällä syreenit ja ruusut, syksyllä koristehedelmät ja ruska koristavat puistoa.
In spring, the park has blooming cherries and apple trees, in summer, syringas and roses, in autumn, decorative fruit and colourful foliage.

Puiston nurmikentät kutsuvat piknikille ja loivat rinteet ovat täydellisiä pulkkamäkiä talvisin.
The grass invites for a picnic and the low slopes are perfect sledge hills in the wintertime.

Puistossa on rauhallisia oleskelualueita ja kauniita istutuksia.
There are tranquil sitting areas and pretty flowers.

Rantalentikseen löytyy oma kenttä ja Hamaron kentällä voi pelata pallopelejä, jos siellä ei ole joukkueharjoituksia käynnissä. Talvella se jäädytetään säiden salliessa luistelukäyttöön.
There is a beach volley field and on the Hamaro field you can play any ball games, if there isn't a scheduled team practice going on. In winter, the field is frozen for a skating rink whenever the weather allows it.

Ingegerdin leikkipaikalla on liukumäki, kiipeilyteline (toistaiseksi Turun korkein!), keinuja, hiekkalaatikko ja jousikeinuja.
On the Ingegerdin leikkipaikka playground there is a slide, a climbing net (at the moment, it's the highest in Turku!), swings, a sandbox and spring swings.

Sometimes, it looks like we're in an English garden.

Puistoon on istutettu vähän erikoisempiakin puulajeja ja muotoja. Tämä komea puu on hevoskastanja.
There are some more uncommon trees and cultivars. This handsome tree is a horse chestnut, uncommon in Finland.

Grillipaikan rakennus etenee / Building the new grill place took a step forward

Grillipaikan talkoot Pilvilinnassa sunnuntaina 24. toukokuuta keräsivät joukon aikuisia ja lapsia touhuamaan yhdessä. Lapset tietysti enemmän katselivat, mutta myös auttoivat. Lopuksi syötiin grillimakkaroita, vihanneksia ja totta kai jo perinteeksi muodostunutta paahdettua vaahtokarkkia!

The grill place work effort in Pilvilinna on Sunday, May 24th got a nice group of adults and children to get busy together. Of course, the kids were mostly there to watch curiously, but they also helped. After work, there was some grilled food to be eaten: sausages, vegetables and of course - some roasted marshmallows, the newest tradition for your events!

Ensimmäiseksi purettiin lekalla vanha, mureneva grilli ja vietiin jätteet pois. Kalusteet puhdistettiin, hiottiin ja pohjamaalattiin.

First the old, crumbling grill was hammered down and the rubble taken away. The garden furniture got cleansed, sanded and base coated.

Ensi viikolla tehdään suunnitelmat uudelle grillille ja hankitaan siihen tarvikkeet. Seuraavissa talkoissa (tai asukkaiden innostuessa) maalataan päällyskerros kalusteisiin ja muurataan grilli paikoilleen. Myös silloin on tiedossa syötävää!

Next week, the plans for a new grill will be readied and the supplies bought. In the next work effort (or whenever the tenants get around doing it on their own time) the furniture will be painted white and the new grill will be masoned. Food will also appear, again!

Tekninen ongelma / Technical problem

Hyvät asukkaat,

meillä on tällä hetkellä pieni ongelma kerhotilan varauskalenterin kanssa. Varaukset eivät näkyneet blogisivulla kirjautumatta Googleen, ja kun koetimme päivittää kalenteria uudestaan näkymään, tulivat varaajatkin näkyville julkisesti. Kalenteri oli poissa käytöstä jonkin aikaa.

Ongelma toistuu ilmeisesti epäsäännöllisen säännöllisin väliajoin. Mikäli päivälle, jonka haluaisit varata, ei näy varauksia, ota yhteyttä asukastoimikuntaan tys.kuunsilta@gmail.com

Valitettavasti kalenterin häiriötilanteesta johtuen se ei aina näytä päiviä oikein. Kysy siis haluamaasi päivää hyvissä ajoin.

Pahoittelemme aiheutunutta häiriötä.

Dear tenants,

we are having a slight problem with the reservations calendar for the club room. The reservations were not visible on the blog page without signing in via Google, and when we tried to reload the calendar page, the reserver information became visible for everyone to see. We blocked the calendar from the page for a while.

The problem apparently comes up regularly. If the day you would wish to reserve doesn't show any reservations, please contact the Tenant Committee in tys.kuunsilta@gmail.com

Unfortunately, due to the error situation in the calendar, it doesn't always show all the reservations correctly. Please, therefore ask the date you would need well beforehand.

We are sorry for the inconvenience.
